GES QN-1

  • To remove ammonia by the most common biological treatment method requires two steps: nitrification and denitrification. Nitrification is much more limited than other actions in terms of biochemistry because there are only two types of bacteria that cause nitrification action. One is Nitrosomonas, which converts ammonia to nitrite, and the other is Nitrobactor, which converts nitrite to nitrate.

 

  • Both types of bacteria are aerobic. Their growth and proliferation speed are significantly slower compared to other bacteria. And they are weak against sudden shocks (inflow of toxic substances, the excessive influx of wastewater, sudden change of pH, or change of temperature), and have many inhibitors.

 

  • GES Nitrification Delivery System is a kind of Bio-Reactor to overcome the vulnerability of nitrification bacteria and ensure the maximum effect. This device sufficiently activates the nitrification bacteria and cultivates a sufficient amount to supply to the wastewater facility.
