GES QS-1
- From a biochemical point of view, organic matter in the colloidal state and particulate organic matter are much more difficult to decompose than soluble organic matter. Since bacteria have semipermeable cell walls, they absorb only soluble substances through the cell walls and convert them into water and carbon dioxide. Colloidal particles and particulate substances contribute to the degree of contamination of water as they are.
- To decompose non-degradable organic material, it is required to convert organic matter in the colloidal state and particulate organic matter that have not been absorbed through cell walls into soluble organic matter and decompose them into water and carbon dioxide by bacteria. Substances that contribute to this process are extracellular enzymes produced by bacteria. While bacteria have sufficient food and continue their growth and cell division, they don’t produce extracellular enzymes.
- GES QS-1 is a selectively cultured bacteria that can produce a large amount of extracellular enzymes. A microorganism automatic input device (ABI-Delivery System) is used to increase the decomposition rate of these organic matters. It is required to make bacteria starved while putting QS-1 and Activator into this device together and injecting air. Then, input it to the wastewater treatment plant.
Non-biodegradable organics decomposition system
Products | Description |
---|---|
QS-1 | · A concentrated solution of microorganisms that culture seven representative inhibitors among industrial wastewater by medium · Effective in decomposing non-biodegradable organics and reducing sludge |
Activator | · A concentrated solution of nutrients formulated for the rapid growth of bacteria · Directly input into the Delivery System |
ABI-Delivery System | · A device that continuously supplies bacteria by activating them in the field · A device that directly inputs bacteria activated using tap water, QS-1, and Activators into the facility |
Application
- Because it decomposes non-biodegradable organics, it maintains the stable quality of the treated water and has a great effect of reducing the sludge.
- It is reduced by up to 40% in the activated sludge process and the precipitated sludge is reduced by 60% in the lagoon process.
- GES QS-1 can be used in both sewage treatment plants and industrial wastewater treatment plants.
